disease Jenkins Living Center has focused on becoming a leader in the rehabilitation of the older adult by using experience rehabilitation staff including: Physical Therapy – working to increase mobility, strength, coordination and balance including teaching walking with assistive devices (canes, walkers, prosthesis) Occupational Therapy – working to increase independence with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, cooking, etc.) through purposeful and meaningful activities. Speech-Language Pathology – working to increase a person’s ability to understand others and express themselves when communicating and also addressing the strength and coordination of the mouth, face, and throat for eating and swallowing.
